SOME STAFF RECORDS HELD BY THE MIDLAND RAILWAY STUDY CENTRE







As is explained elsewhere on this site, The Midland Railway Study Centre has very few Staff Records to assist geneologists in their quest.

Notably exceptions to this include two ledger detailing the men of the Locomotive Department at Derby and Nottingham, resectively, between circa 1870 - 1914. also, extensive handwritten records exist of personnell matters at Burton Goods Yard over a long period of the Midland Railway's existence.

Over and above these items, however, our resources are limited. What follows is a listing of the remaining "Staff Records" folder ( Folder 51, Shelf 501.1):
